Located within the grounds of Ormiston Denes Academy, the Community Sports Centre is designed as a dual-use complex offering first class facilities for students and the local community alike.
Since opening in 2004 the centre has hosted many top class events including visits from Norwich City Football Club, Wayne Otto (World Karate Champion), FA coaching courses, national basketball tournaments and the area’s largest summer football tournament. The centre is also the home of East Anglia’s largest junior football club – Waveney Youth FC.
We have a number of facilities available for hire, so whatever your sport and ability we’re sure you’ll find something to suit you here at Ormiston Denes Academy Community Sports Centre.
Please have a look around the Community Sports Centre pages on this site, or get in touch – we’d be happy to show you around and answer any questions you might have.

Every effort has been made to allow the whole community to use the sports centre and we welcome people of all abilities. For those in wheelchairs the building has been constructed with wide doors and corridors, and not a single step. In addition the car park is directly adjacent to the front entrance.
We encourage anybody with particular needs to contact us and we will do our very best to make your visit as enjoyable and problem free as possible.
