The Ormiston Academies Trust National Student Voice wanted to find a way that we can all come together to support the innocent people and families affected by the devastating conflict in Ukraine.
Therefore, on Wednesday 23rd March, we will be uniting with all other OAT academies and OAT head office for an Ormiston Humanitarian Fundraiser for the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal by holding a non- school uniform day and inviting students to wear something blue and yellow for a donation.
We know that last week we also had Fundraising Friday, but our students felt strongly that we also took part with our OAT family and continued to raise as much as we could for Ukraine. There is no set amount for a donation, we are grateful for any amount, however small.
The guidelines for non school uniform are:
• Students must come in appropriate clothing suitable for a school day.
• No shorts, ripped jeans, strappy tops etc.
• Hoodies are allowed, however hoods must be down at all times whilst on school grounds.
• Normal academy policy in relation to make up, hair and jewellery will still apply.
• PE kit still required for any student that has PE on that day.
If you have any questions, please let us know! Thank you so much for your support
