Do you have a Suffolk Library Card?

If not simply go to any Library in Suffolk and ask to join.

If you do, by simply using your Library card number you can access a whole range of online resources.

Search for ‘Suffolk Reference Direct’. You will be taken to a page where you can access a huge range of useful information:

  • Britannica Online
  • Credo Reference  (over 500 well known books and encyclopaedias)
  • Gale Virtual Reference Library  (online reference books, periodicals and newspapers)
  • Oxford English Dictionary (a constantly updated dictionary and history of the English language)
  • Oxford Reference (major reference books from O.U.P.)
  • Who’s Who? and Who Was Who?
  • Oxford Art online and Oxford Music online
  • 19th Century British Newspapers
  • The Times Digital Archive (the entire Times Newspaper, newly upgraded  1785—2006

And many, many more ……. All you need is your library card number
